In new legal filings, Diddy's team argues that Lil Rod (real name Rodney Jones) was a willing participant in everything he now claims was coerced. The defense asserts that Rod hired sex workers on his own initiative and consumed substances voluntarily throughout their professional relationship.
Rod filed a $30 million lawsuit earlier alleging that Diddy forced him into uncomfortable situations, subjected him to unwanted advances, and threatened his career if he did not comply.
What the Evidence Shows
Diddy's legal team claims to have communications showing Rod making his own arrangements and expressing enthusiasm rather than reluctance. If those communications are authenticated at trial, they could undermine the narrative of coercion that Rod's lawsuit relies on.
