Terms of Service

By accessing or using The Talk Lounge, you agree to these Terms and the policies incorporated into them. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Separate written proposals, insertion orders, advertising agreements, writer agreements, or other business contracts can add terms for the specific service they cover.

TTL account registration requires a minimum age of 13. If the law where you live requires a higher age or parental authorization for a particular consent based service, that requirement also applies. You must provide truthful age information when the registration flow asks for a date of birth.

You are responsible for information submitted through your account and for protecting your credentials. Do not share authentication secrets, impersonate another person, evade a suspension, or use automated access to defeat security or abuse controls. TTL may restrict, suspend, or close accounts when reasonably necessary to protect the service, enforce these Terms, comply with law, or address abuse.

When you post comments or other community content, you must not post unlawful material, threats, harassment, hate speech, doxxing, impersonation, spam, malicious automation, sexually exploitative content, or content that infringes another person's rights. TTL may moderate, redact, remove, or restrict community content and accounts under the Community Guidelines.

TTL content: TTL articles, original graphics, logos, product design, and other original materials are protected by applicable intellectual property law. Third party material remains subject to the rights of its owner or licensor.

Your submissions: You retain the rights you have in content you submit. You grant TTL a nonexclusive, worldwide license to host, display, reproduce, moderate, and distribute that content as reasonably necessary to operate, promote, and protect the service, subject to applicable law and the privacy policy.

Third party embeds: Some articles can reference or display supported social content. When consent is required, TTL uses a first party placeholder until you choose to load the provider or otherwise allow the applicable category.

TTL publishes news, reporting, commentary, entertainment coverage, and developing stories. We work to correct material errors, but news can change and no publication can guarantee that every item remains complete or error free. Rumors, allegations, court filings, and other developing claims should be attributed and described according to their source and verification status.

TTL may display direct advertising and advertising supplied by configured providers. Sponsored content, paid partnerships, and affiliate relationships are subject to the Advertising Disclosure and applicable disclosure requirements. Third party advertisers are responsible for their own products, services, claims, and destinations.

Card processing is handled by Stripe. TTL does not store full card numbers. Paid advertising and business services are governed by the applicable order, proposal, invoice, campaign terms, or written agreement. Reader support and writer tips are voluntary. Refunds, reversals, disputes, service credits, and makegoods are handled according to applicable law, provider outcomes, and the terms of the specific transaction.

Optional newsletters, browser push notifications, and marketing communications are subject to the preferences and consent controls offered for that channel. You can unsubscribe from newsletters, disable browser notifications, and manage supported account notification preferences.

Polls, reactions, comments, sports predictions, and similar features are provided for information or entertainment. Manipulation, automated voting, coordinated abuse, or attempts to bypass rate limits are prohibited.

Sports picks, predictions, and analysis are for entertainment and informational purposes only and are not gambling, investment, or financial advice. Outcomes are uncertain and TTL does not guarantee the accuracy of a prediction.

TTL may use artificial intelligence tools to assist with research, drafting, editing, or newsroom workflows. Automated ingestion and suggested updates are subject to editorial controls before publication. AI tools do not replace the responsibility to verify material claims and apply TTL editorial standards.

TTL may link to merchandise sold through the ItzCulture storefront. Purchases completed on ItzCulture are governed by the checkout disclosures, shipping policies, return policies, privacy terms, and other terms presented by that storefront.

TTL can depend on internet infrastructure and third party providers. Features can be delayed, interrupted, changed, or unavailable because of maintenance, security events, provider outages, legal requirements, or circumstances beyond TTL's reasonable control. Links to third party sites are provided for convenience and are governed by the third party's terms.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided without warranties that are not expressly stated in a separate written agreement. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Dispute rights, mandatory venue rules, consumer protections, and available remedies can depend on where you live and the service involved. Separate business agreements may contain their own governing law or dispute provisions. These public Terms do not override rights that applicable law says cannot be waived.

TTL may update these Terms as the service changes. The current version and update date will be posted here, and additional notice will be provided when required by applicable law or an applicable agreement. If a provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to the extent permitted by law.
