Content Policy
Standards for TTL editorial content, community content, brand safety, corrections, and advertising separation.
Last updated: August 18, 2026
Editorial Content
TTL does not knowingly fabricate quotes, sources, or material facts. Reporting, aggregation, commentary, and attributed third party material should be presented in a way that makes the source and verification status clear.
Brand Safety
TTL applies editorial and advertising suitability controls based on context rather than pretending every newsworthy subject is risk free. Graphic or exploitative presentation, hate content, unlawful promotion, and unsafe advertising placements can be restricted while legitimate reporting on sensitive events remains possible.
Community Content
Signed in comments can appear after server validation and remain subject to reporting and moderation. TTL does not claim that every comment is manually reviewed before display. Deleted parent comments can be redacted rather than physically removed when preserving another member's reply structure is necessary.
Reader Submissions
Tips, music submissions, career applications, and other reader supplied information are reviewed according to the purpose of the submission. A submission does not guarantee publication, coverage, employment, payment, or a particular response time.
Corrections and Updates
Material errors should be corrected clearly. Automated ingestion cannot silently edit published stories. New source material for an existing published article enters the editorial update review workflow.
Advertising Separation
Paid advertising and sponsored material are identified as commercial content. Independent editorial decisions remain separate from campaign billing and sales operations.
Contact
Content concerns and correction requests can be sent to press@thetalklounge.com or through the policy specific contact listed on the relevant page.
