A tragic case out of San Diego has taken an even more devastating turn after a newborn baby girl, delivered following her mother’s fatal incident, has passed away.
Seventeen-year-old Jariah Edwards was shot and killed on May 30 in what authorities say was a violent incident involving her ex-boyfriend. In an urgent effort to save her unborn child, doctors performed an emergency C section, delivering the baby at just 32 weeks.
