Mrbeast Hit With Lawsuit Alleging Sexual Harassment And Toxic Workplace Culture

UPDATE: April 25, 2026

MrBeast's Beast Industries has filed an official response in federal court seeking dismissal of the lawsuit, calling the claims "categorically false" and "deliberate misrepresentations." The company says it has "extensive evidence including Slack and WhatsApp messages, company documents, and witness testimony" that refutes Lorrayne Mavromatis's allegations.

UPDATE: April 23, 2026

A new lawsuit has been filed against MrBeast's Beast Industries by former social media manager Lorrayne Mavromatis, alleging years of sexual harassment, gender bias, and retaliation after returning from maternity leave. The lawsuit was filed in federal court in North Carolina. Mavromatis claims she was subjected to harassment by management, demoted after complaining, and ultimately fired. Beast Industries has called the claims "categorically false" and accused "opportunistic lawyers looking to manufacture a payday." This is the latest in a series of workplace controversies surrounding the YouTube star's companies.

MrBeast, born Jimmy Donaldson, is facing a federal lawsuit filed by a former executive that is raising serious questions about the internal culture of his company, Beast Industries.

According to court filings, former employee Lorrayne Mavromatis alleges she experienced sexual harassment, discrimination, and retaliation while working within the company’s executive team.

The lawsuit claims the workplace operated under what was described as a “male centric” culture, where female employees were allegedly subjected to inappropriate comments, unequal treatment, and unprofessional behavior.

Mavromatis specifically accuses former CEO James Warren, who is also related to MrBeast, of making inappropriate remarks and unwanted advances during her time at the company.

She further alleges that after reporting concerns internally, she was demoted and ultimately terminated shortly after returning from maternity leave. MrBeast Finance: Is the YouTuber ...

In response, representatives for MrBeast’s company have strongly denied the allegations, calling them false and disputing the claims outlined in the lawsuit.

The company has suggested that the termination was tied to broader restructuring decisions rather than retaliation, and maintains that it has evidence to challenge the accusations in court. MrBeast: YouTube Team and Business Interview, Chris and Chandler - Business Insider

The case now adds to a growing list of scrutiny surrounding workplace culture in large scale creator led businesses, especially as MrBeast’s brand continues to expand into major productions and corporate operations.

As of now, the allegations remain unproven, and the case will move forward through the legal process as both sides prepare to present their evidence.
